FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Nick was singing and writing songs at 2 y/o (loudly) and he was just lucky enough to have parents that encouraged him to keep at it through the years. He spent a lot of their money to get a B.a. in Music Composition at Bates College, and even more of his own to get a M.M. in Music Production at The University of Miami. Countless hours of practice, study, and performance helped put Nick on the path to kids music super-stardom.

MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR

Full of music and hope, whatever would Nick do? Well, the first job posting he applied for was at the LEAP School in Lexington, MA. The posting closed, “must have a sense of humor.” Armed with the experience of assisting in his mother’s preschool, a minor in education, and a guitar, Nick would need that sense of humor!

MAKING A SPLASH

When Nick merged his two interests in early childhood education and music production, it was only a matter of time before people started to take notice. First the Television Academy awarded Nick the Mr. Roger’s Memorial Scholarship. Nick used this endowment to compose, and release four hit albums. In The Nick of Time has been recognized with Parents’ Choice Gold and Silver Awards, Parents Magazine Top 10 Album of 2011, and the “Dinosaur Song” video has received over 1,000,000 views on YouTube.
